Penwizard- Personalised Book Review

Both the boys love their books, and it's fair to say that we have quite a collection of all different types of books. So when we were offered the opportunity to review a personalised book i jumped at the chance.

Little man has started to learn his own name and can spell it out himself so i decided that it would be a real treat if he could see his own name in a book.

Penwizard offered a selection of different titles that can be personalised, Peppa Pig and the biggest muddy puddle in the world stood out as a great choice.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the personalisation process was, and also that you could personalise the appearance of  ' your child' from a good selection of pre-set themes. The personalisation can also be checked before submitting the order.

Delivery was prompt and the book took 6 days to arrive from placing the order. The website also provides an estimated delivery date at the time of ordering.

When the book arrived little man's face was a picture as soon as he opened the book he recognised his name and saw that he was appearing alongside one of his favourite characters. He knew that this was a book all about himself and couldn't wait to show his friends.

The book itself is a good size and contains 24 colour pages with detailed pictures and great personalisation detail throughout the story.

Little man was able to point out his name whilst the book was read and spotted 'his' picture on several pages.

These books make an ideal gift and are certainly a lovely little keepsake for any young child. The paperback books are priced at £14.99 and for me represent good value for money.

Disclaimer: We were provided with a copy of this book for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own

  1. These are lovely books....We have a couple.

  2. How adorable! I have always love personalised books, my daughter has a few of them. Certainly found my daughter to be more engaged when she realised she was part of the story. x
