Dear Little Man,
Firstly I want to tell you how proud I am of you and what an amazing little character you are and if I could freeze time right now I would.
Tonight is the night before we find out which primary school you have been allocated, and although I really don't want to think about you starting school I know that you are probably more than ready. You have a desire to learn and really absorb any sort of information, but you are still my little man.
The process of choosing a short list of schools was hard, but we selected a short list of schools that we think would be perfect for you, it was so hard I think I was in denial about you starting school.
A lot of your friends at nursery have applied for different schools and although you are only four I know you have developed some really close friendships.
This decision is one of the hardest I have had to make and I promise that we have put lots and lots of thought into it as we want whats best for you little man, to find a school were you will be so happy, where you can grow and have fun whilst learn, where you can express yourself.
Tonight I feel a little delicate, we find out tomorrow your allocated school, but just remember little man that mummy and daddy have made a promise that we will always do what we think is best for you
