Muddy Puddles- 3 in 1 Scamp Suit Review

The boys really enjoy being outdoors and they can often be found jumping in puddles and generally getting wet and muddy. I want little Pops to be able to join in and although he is still not mobile being prepared for the wet weather is always a bonus, even if that's just nipping out on the school run.

When Muddy Puddles got in touch offering Pops a 3 in 1 Scamp Suit for review it seem liked the ideal opportunity to get him kitted out in his first little waterproof.

The Scamp suit is available in two different colours (Navy Thunderbolt and Teal Raindrop) and a range of sizes from 0-6 months through to 2-3 years. Pops has just turned six months so i selected the 6-12 month size in the Teal colour.

The Scamp suit has a fleece under layer which is cleverly fitted with press studs to allow the waterproof to fit over the top. This means that the suit can be worn in three ways; as a cosy fleece, as a waterproof  suit or in the colder wet weather with the both layers attached to create a warm waterproof suit.

In the 6-12 month sizing both the fleece and waterproof have the option to turn back the hand and feet cuffs to create 'gloves' and to cover the feet to make a full all in one.

The layering of the fleece and waterproof has been made easy with the use of hooks and press studs to prevent the suit getting crumpled down the arms and legs

The lined pointy hood which looks super cute on is also fitted with velcro and straps to adjust the size of the hood so that it creates a fit best for your little one.

The Waterproof is soft to touch and has a long zip which makes it easy to lay Pops into. The fleece layer is super soft and will definitely keep him be snug and warm.

Pops has plenty of growing room in his Scamp suit and i would expect this when i chose the bigger size for him.

The Scamp Suit is priced at £59.99

The Snowman and SnowDog Festive Bake Off Blog Tour 2015

Last year we took part in the Snowman and Snowdog Blog tour and the boys fell in love with the story that is the sequel to The Snowman. So when we were offered the opportunity to join again this year we were rather excited.

Watching the Snowman on TV had been somewhat of a tradition from when i was younger, and the sequel the Snowman and Snowdog will be shown on Channel 4 again this Christmas.

The Snowman book has seen over 4 million copies sold worldwide and this year we have been sent a deluxe copy of the Classic story by Raymond Briggs. This hardback book is packed with stunning illustrations and is made memorable with the absence of words as in the film.

The boys enjoyed studying the pictures and recreating the story and telling it using their own words and descriptions. The book has a RRP of £12.99 and would make a great gift that can be shared with children young and old year after year.

We were also sent some adorable Snowman and Snowdog cookie cutters to assist us with our bake off creations. This little set is available from John Lewis (£3.50)

The boys couldn't wait to get started and after putting together a basic vanilla biscuit dough they then got to work on the rolling and the cutting.

Once the biscuits were cooled we melted some white chocolate and spread all over the Snowman and Snowdog biscuits, next up was the decoration and under strict guidance and assistance from Little Man we used icing pensand edible decorations to create our own Snowman and Snowdog biscuits.

We also plan to use our cutters to create salt dough decoration for the tree and also for sandwiches to create a festive Snowman inspired pack lunch.

Tomorrow the blog tour heads over to YummyMummyinTraining so why not head over there for some more Snowman and Snowdog themed treats
